Unposed Wedding Photographer
Hi, I’m Rhys, a tea guzzling, biscuit dunking, waterfall kayaking, wedding photographer. Who believes in capturing real wedding moments, without stopping or posing you. Ensuring you spend as much time as possible with your loved ones, capturing raw emotion that you will treasure for a lifetime.
Although I am based in Leicestershire, it’s an honour to be invited by couples to travel all over the UK to photograph their weddings.
In a previous life, I was an outdoor pursuit instructor. Instructing white water kayaking and climbing around the world, as well as delivering personal development courses to young children in the mountains of Snowdonia. In my spare time you will find me climbing some of the UK’s biggest mountains, or paddling off waterfalls, or maybe sampling a new restaurant that has opened with my fiancée Sarah. Yes, I too am getting married, and I understand how hard planning a wedding is. Choosing the right photographer is not easy, but having someone who isn’t going to stop or pose us, allowing us to enjoy every second of our day is essential to us. This is exactly why I have adopted this approach to my own wedding photography – I understand what it is like to feel uncomfortable in front of the camera.
Felix & Garfield
Sarah and I have adopted two gorgeous rescue cats. As much as we love them, they sure make my life difficult walking across my keyboard, and sitting in front of my screen to gain maximum attention when I am trying to edit wedding photos.
If you haven’t already, please have a browse of my portfolio or featured weddings to gain a deeper sense of what my style of unposed wedding photography is all about. Or, I would love to hear from you to discuss your day more, please get in touch.
