This former parish church was saved from demolition by outraged locals when the area was cleared for development.

The ceremony is conducted by a registrar because the church was deconsecrated as part of the work to save the site. However, the venue has all the charm and atmosphere of a church and its splendour is guaranteed to make you quickly forget that it is now classed as a museum.

The marquee-lined barn is a popular space complete with its own courtyard, all the facilities you need and a beautiful, neutral blank canvas for you to make your own. Alternatively, there is a smaller reception room with a balcony overlooking the water which has wonderful views across Rutland Lake, the biggest man-made lake in the UK.
The grounds of Rutland Golf Club can also be used during the reception, delivering huge swathes of scenic green grounds by the lake.
