Leander and Jamie got married at St Bartholomew's Church, which is their the local church in Kirby Muxloe with stunning grounds. It was a beautiful day and the sun shone all day long!

The ceremony

The ceremony was a church service in a beautiful church. During the ceremony, they read their own vows. It was such a personal service.

They decorated the area with balloons, which I loved. The reception was in a private room at The Castle Hotel – I love this venue because it’s so cosy and relaxed. Weddings at The Castle Hotel are amazing, because the building is so gorgeous.

Why The Castle Hotel is a great place to get married

The Castle Hotel is perfect for couples who want a chilled out wedding, and is one of the nicest places to get married in Kirby Muxloe. The venue offers onsite bedrooms so guests don’t have to leave early – and there is Kirby Muxloe Castle outside perfect for photos.

The reception

The couple had a drinks reception in the afternoon and a photo booth in the evening. For dinner, they had a buffet, and the first dance involved the wedding party getting on the dancefloor to get the dancing going. They finished off the evening with a ‘last dance’.
